False caller ID on a telephone call from Frontier Communications
Even while discussing caller ID spoofing, even a phone company's name on a caller ID display is false

A representative of Frontier Communications Corporation made a telephone call.
The caller ID of that call is "VERIZON SC2 WCH." That is false information.
The associated telephone number is 260-461-2056. The date and time displayed is 11/08 10:36 AM. The call occurred in 2018.
A photograph of that caller ID exists in the internet domain truthandfalsity.com. The name of the file containing the photogrpah is frontier-CID-indicates-verizon.jpg. Here it is.
That is outrageous. The call's conversation was about caller ID. The representative's identity is Pauken.
A day earlier, a man named William called the same telephone number that Frontier did. He said that he is with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.
On Monday, the head of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission sent a letter about caller ID to Frontier. A copy of that letter exists in the internet domain fcc.gov. Its address is https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-354933A8.pdf.
